Internet and Mobile Phones
Your Mobile phone has probably a pre installed browser, and eMPATIX works very well in most browsers, we have tested so far. There are however some Mobile Phones with old browsers that do not work in Indonesia. With this browsers you can browse, but not use forms, as you need to log in.
You can easy avoid this by using Opera Mini. Just point your browser to mini.opera.com and download. The rest of the installation is easy.
The most normal pre installed browsers are Internet Explorer and Opera. Some Mobile phones even have both.We are told that Indonesian Telecom operators invest third most in the world in 3G/3,5G this year and an increase in quality is expected. eMPATIX utilizes the browser as much as possible but will always comply with the standards.The best browser we have tested so far is Opera Mini. There are three reasons we suggest this Opera Mini as browser:
- You can save your User name and password in the Bookmark; this makes it easier to log in.
- The pages you are viewing in with Opera Mini, are compressed before they are transferred to you Mobile phone. This makes the amount of KB you transfer and normally pay for, less. We have measured until 300 % less page size.
- All numbers stored in eMPATIX, can be directly called from. This means you do not have to store any phone numbers on you Mobile telephone.
